Accounts, cash, bank
LiveBookkeeping
Who owes you, whom you owe, and what is left in cash and at the bank — in one place.
Bookkeeping keeps your customer and supplier accounts, sales and purchase documents, expenses, and cash and bank accounts together. Collections and payments are matched to documents, and you upload your bank statement to compare it with your records. For now the documents are not official invoices; e-Invoice and e-Archive (Türkiye) are next. We switch Bookkeeping on in your account together with you.

How it works
- 01
Bring your accounts
Enter customers and suppliers one by one or import them from Excel / CSV; record their opening balances.
- 02
Set up cash and bank accounts
Every place your money sits is an account; you transfer between them.
- 03
Record documents and expenses
Draft a sales document and finalise it; record purchases and expenses as paid or to be paid.
- 04
Collect, pay, reconcile
Collections and payments are matched to documents; you upload your bank statement and approve the suggested matches.
Who it’s for
- Small businesses tracking receivables and payables in Excel
- Teams that sell with quotes and want to follow collections (with CRM)
- Anyone who wants cash, bank accounts and expenses in one place
Example
The path of a sale
An illustrative flow; it does not describe a real business.
- Monday
You create a sales document from a CRM quote, check the draft and finalise it.
- Wednesday
You record a supplier purchase as “to be paid”; with Inventory on, the stock of tracked products goes up. Separately, you enter an expense an employee paid out of pocket.
- Friday
The customer pays by bank transfer; you enter the collection on the bank account and it is matched to the sales document.
- Next week
Another customer gives you a post-dated cheque; you record it in the portfolio and hand it to the bank for collection. Once it is collected, the account balance is updated.
- Month end
You upload the bank statement; the system suggests matches for its lines and you approve them.
- Next day
You look at the VAT and income-expense reports and download them as CSV if you like.

Sales documents
- Open as a draft, finalise when ready
- Cash sales (paid on the spot)
- A sales document from a CRM quote
- Copy an existing document to start a new one
- Customer-specific price lists: the price from the customer’s list fills the line automatically
Purchases and expenses
- Purchase documents
- Expenses: paid, to be paid, or paid by an employee
- Purchase documents add to the stock of tracked products (with Inventory on)
- Weighted average cost and stock value
- Categories and tags
Cash, bank, payments
- Cash and bank accounts
- Transfers between accounts
- Recording collections and payments
- Automatic matching to documents, and advances
Bank reconciliation
- Upload your bank statement as a file
- The system suggests matches with your records
- You approve each match
- An optional income category for incoming transactions
- Account lock: lock a period once it is reconciled
Cheque and promissory-note tracking
- Records of cheques and notes received and issued
- Follow the status: in portfolio → with the bank for collection → collected
- Mark a bounced one as under follow-up
- Endorsement to a supplier
- Due-date calendar
- Each step updates the customer or supplier balance and the account balance
Recurring documents
- Sales template: a draft sales document is prepared when the period comes
- You check the draft and finalise it yourself
- Expense template: a “to be paid” expense waits for your approval
Reports
- VAT report
- Income-expense and cash flow; breakdown by income category
- Profitability report: cost of goods sold and gross profit, by product, product category, customer or document
- Cost comes from the weighted average stock cost on the document date (with Inventory on); an unknown cost is never guessed, the line is flagged
- Sales and expense breakdowns
- Ageing
- CSV export
Works together
Because the blocks share one core, these links work today.
Good to know
- For now the documents are not official invoices; e-Invoice and e-Archive (Türkiye) are next.
- We do not connect to your bank: you upload the statement and you approve the matches.
- Cheque and promissory-note records are for tracking; they do not replace the instrument itself.
- Recurring documents prepare a draft; nothing is finalised or sent on its own.
- A sales document does not come off stock.
- In the profitability report, lines with no known cost are listed separately; if there are any, read the cost as a minimum and the profit as a maximum.
The shared core underneath
The same in every block: users, permissions, security and records.
- Your own company space
- Each company’s data is isolated from others and lives at its own address.

- Two-factor authentication
- A code sent by email; turned on per company.
- Audit log
- Who changed what, and when — recorded.
- You choose where your data lives
- AWS Frankfurt (EU) by default; on request AWS Istanbul (Türkiye) or your own servers (on-prem).
- Interface in three languages
